“April is the cruellest month.” –T. S. Eliot
I know I’m early, but I’m actually prepared this time! What?! April turned out to be crazier than expected, with surprise trips to Chicago and Indiana, and some mad dashes to get work on the book done. With everything that happened in Boston I was a little emotionally wrecked, but after all that, I feel like April ended on a high note.
So! Checking in.
- Get an agent. So I’m really excited, because I found an editor thanks to a dear friend! I am submitting my manuscript to her next month, so I have a lot to do before then. But I feel like I am moving forward in the right direction now!
- Get healthy [again]. I am back on track with pilates, and feeling so much better because of it! I still need to work on my eating habits a little [oh cola, why are you so tasty, oh and cheese…] but hey, I’m working out every day, and I feel that is a big accomplishment.
- Get writing [more]. This is still not working out so well. Next month. Oy.
- Get more German. I have finally made progress! As of today I am starting German lessons through a school that I went to for Japanese. I really learned a lot from them – the classes were very small, so I am looking forward to learning a lot.
I leave you with this. I think it’s better without an explanation.
