Adventure Time Tuesday – The Louvre!

“Though I often looked for one, I finally had to admit that there could be no cure for Paris.” – Ernest Hemingway

Oh man, it’s Tuesday again already? When did that happen? Oy.

In exciting news, I decided to join the world of Pintrest, but I’m slightly overwhelmed and still trying to figure it out. XD But I am posting travel pics there as well. Mmm social media. Nom.

So, it’s Tuesday! Today, here are some more pics from France, but more specifically, Paris. I didn’t spend a lot of time in Paris when I was in France, but when we went there, we made sure to make good use of our time. It’s a beautiful city, and I really hope I can go again some day.

View of sunset in Paris from within the Louvre

I love museums, and going to the Louvre was just awe-inspiring. I’ve gone twice now, and I feel like there is still so much that I need to see.

The Mona Lisa up close! Well, almost. There were ropes and guards.

I was able to see the Mona Lisa though, and some additional artwork by one of my favorite artists, Caspar Friedrich.

Just gorgeous

This place is just huge, there are several floors and several wings, which makes sense, since it is one of the largest museums in the world. XD

I know this place is obviously one the must see list if you go to Paris, but just in case you had your doubts – seriously, check it out.

  1. For the love of Audrey Hepburn in the “Funny Face” flick, “Winged Victory” is one of my favorite sculptures! Beautiful post! I also loved your Hemingway quote. Nice. Pinching from Papa Hemingway, keep finding that one true sentence! Theadora

    • It’s such an amazing sculpture! I felt so lucky to get to see it! Thanks for the comment, really appreciate it!

Also, your blog makes me miss France even more!! 8D
